Ways Forward

As a part of our education at Mulberry, we are taught how to respond to international, national and local issues that concern us in a responsible, yet confident way and to seek change through raising these issues vocally – either through writing, speaking out or using other forms of non-violent protest. These are some of the ways in which we seek to achieve social change:
  • Writing to political representatives
  • Speaking at conferences
  • Organising conferences for young people so that there is a space for debate and a platform for the voices of young people
  • Lobbying parliamentarians
  • Holding awareness-raising events
  • Using the arts as a medium for expressing views and feelings
  • Film-making
  • Joining or setting up campaign groups
  • Writing and publishing articles
  • Peaceful demonstration
  • Voting
  • Posting blogs
  • Using digital media responsibly to raise awareness
  • Obtaining the qualifications, employment and/or position to achieve positive and democratic change
If you feel that the issues raised in the Justice in Action film and blogs inspire you to want to voice your concerns or to work to prevent genocide, please help us by letting us know and by joining us in one of these ways.
